Amar Jawan Jyoti
Located in Chanakya Puri Tehsil, New Delhi, Amar Jawan Jyoti is a war memorial that was conceptualised and constructed after the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Inaugurated on 26 January 1972, it served as the national war memorial in India until 2019. The memorial features a flame that symbolises the eternal spirit of the Indian soldiers. Although the flame was merged with the newer one at the National War Memorial in 2022, the site still holds historical significance. Visitors can pay their respects to the fallen soldiers and experience the patriotic atmosphere of the memorial.
