Uppalapadu

Uppalapadu is a village in the Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Pedakakani mandal of Guntur revenue division.Uppalapadu is located at 16.18°N 80.30°E / 16.18; 80.30. it is located 2km from Pedakakani.The Bird Center is located just after the village entrance. The water tanks in the village are unique as they provide refuge to many species of birds, including endangered spot-billed pelicans and painted storks. The birds migrate here from various places such as Siberia, and use the center for nesting.

Bethel Bible College, Guntur

Bethel Bible College (BBC) is an ecumenical theological seminary located in Guntur in Andhra Pradesh in India. It was founded in 2000 November 4 and is affiliated to the Senate of Serampore College (University), Serampore, West Bengal.The Gospel Mission of India founded the college for ensuring adequate spiritual formation for priests. The college offers Bachelor of Divinity degrees.

Jinnah Tower

Jinnah Tower is a landmark monument in the city of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. It is named after the father of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah and is located on Mahatma Gandhi Road of the city as a symbol of peace and harmony.The tower was erected on six pillars which open to a dome, typical of the then Muslim architecture in early twentieth century. The tower is currently in a state of neglect and crumbling. According to the State Archaeology Department, the tower could be brought under the list of protected monuments if it has history of more than 60 years.
