Disclaimer

1. This is a directory and a booking platform

The Trip India lists hotels, restaurants, travel agents, taxi operators and activity centres, and sells timed tickets for some of them. The businesses listed are independent: they set their own prices, opening hours, rules and standards, and they deliver the service. They are not our employees, agents or franchisees.

A listing, a ranking, a badge or a review score is information, not a guarantee. We do not inspect every kitchen, vehicle or guide. Where we have verified something — a licence, a signature, a physical location — we say so on the listing, and we say what “verified” meant.

2. Accuracy, prices and availability

We work to keep listings accurate, but details change faster than we can crawl them. Prices, menus, timings, slot availability, entry fees and contact numbers are supplied by Operators and can change without notice.

The price and availability shown at checkout are the ones that apply. If a listing on this site disagrees with what the business tells you, the business is right — and we would like to know, so tell us.

Rankings are produced by our own scoring, which weighs ratings, completeness, verification and distance. A paid placement, where it exists, is labelled as Sponsored and is never disguised as an editorial ranking.

3. Not professional advice

Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or safety advice. Destination guides, itineraries, trek notes, altitude warnings and “best time to visit” guidance are general information written for a wide audience. Travel involves risk that no page can remove — check conditions locally, follow the Operator’s safety instructions, carry the insurance you need, and consult a qualified professional for anything that matters to your health, money or legal position.

4. Advertising on this site

This site carries advertising. Ads are supplied by Google AdSense and, where a business buys a placement directly from us, by that business. Advertisements are labelled Advertisement.

We do not endorse what is advertised, and we do not control the products or services of advertisers. An ad appearing next to a listing means nothing about that listing’s quality.

Advertising cookies are set only after you accept them — see the Cookie Policy. What we do with data is in the Privacy Policy.

5. Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the merchant may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes what we recommend or how a business is ranked. Where we use them, we say so on the page.

6. Links to other sites

We link to Operator websites, maps, government portals and other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security or privacy practices. Following a link leaves our policies behind; read theirs.

7. Ratings and reviews

Ratings combine reviews submitted to us and, where shown, ratings imported from other platforms — the source is named on the listing. Reviews are opinions, not facts we have verified. We remove reviews that are fake, abusive or paid for, but we do not edit a review to make a business look better.

Where a business has too few reviews to be meaningful, we show no score rather than a misleading one.

8. Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on information on this site, or from the acts and omissions of independent Operators. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are unaffected. The contractual terms are in our Terms of Service; refunds are in Cancellation & Refund Policy.

9. Tell us what is wrong

If a listing is inaccurate, a business has closed, a price is wrong, or a review looks fabricated, write to contact@thetripindia.com with the page address. Corrections are made quickly, and businesses can claim and correct their own listing at any time.
