Horsley Hills, in Chittoor district, is Andhra Pradesh’s own hill station — a small plateau at about 1,265 metres with eucalyptus and coffee, a couple of viewpoints, a hanging bridge and a deer park, and the Gali Bandalu or wind rocks at the edge. It is quiet and much less developed than Ooty, and the drive up through the Madanapalle country is half the point.
