The largest shrine of St Sebastian in the world, the church known as Arthunkal St. Andrew's Basilica and St. Sebastian's International Shrine in Arthunkal, Cherthala, Alappuzha district, Kerala, India, was constructed by waning just Portuguese missionaries in the 16th century. Eight years after his death, the church was rebuilt again, this time reoriented to face west towards the long white-sand beach on the shores of the Arabian Sea. In 1647, a statue of St. Sebastian, struck with arrows all over his bleeding body (he was executed on the order of the Roman emperor Diocletian for embracing the Christian faith) sculptured in Milan, was brought and placed in the Arthunkal church.

Champakulam Kalloorkadu St. Mary's Basilica (Malayalam: ചമ്പക്കുളം വലിയ പള്ളി) is an ancient Christian Church in Kerala. It belongs to the Syro-Malabar Church under the Archeparchy of Changanacherry. It is a Forane church, with several parishes under it.

Thrikodithanam Mahavishnu Temple

Thrikodithanam Mahavishnu Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu and located in Thrikkodithanam, Kottayam District, Kerala, South India. Constructed in the Kerala style of architecture, the temple is glorified in the Divya Prabandha, the early medieval Tamil canon of the Azhwar saints from the 6th–9th centuries AD. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu, who is worshipped as MahaVishnu. The nearest railway station to the temple is located in Changanassery, while the nearest airport is Cochin International Airport.

Syro-Malabar Catholic Archeparchy of Kottayam

The Knanaya Syro-Malabar Catholic Archeparchy of Kottayam is a metropolitan Archeparchy of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in India. The Archeparchy is exclusively for Knanaya faithful who are the descendants of Syriac Judeo-Christians (early East Syriac Christians) who migrated from South Mesopotamia to Kodungallur (Muziris) in South India in 345 AD.

Orthodox Theological Seminary (Old Seminary)

The Orthodox Theological Seminary also known as Old Seminary (Pazhaya Seminari) is a seminary of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. It was founded in 1815 by Colonel John Munro with the help of the priest-monk Pulikkottil Joseph Ittoop Ramban (later Mar Dionysius II) to serve the Malankara Syrian Church and to invite CMS missionaries to teach theology. At that time deacons were ordained as priests without an organized theological education. After the arrival of CMS missionaries, theological education was organized for the priests.

MANIKANDAPURAM TEMPLE

Manikandapuram (Malayalam: മണികണ്ഠപുരം) was the capital of the Kingdom of Thekkumkur (now part of India). Manikandapuram is a part of Vakathanam Gramam in the Changanassery Taluk of Kottayam District. At the beginning of the Thekkumkur princely state, the nearest place, Vennimala was established as the headquarters. Vennimala was the most secure place for the enemy. The forests were cut down and developed into habitable areas and the administration is strengthened by the capital city of Manikandapuram.

Adichikkavu Sree Durga Devi Kshetram

Adichikkavu Sree Durga Devi Kshetram, also known as the Adichikavu (Adichicavu) Devi Temple (Malayalam: അടിചിക്കാവ് ശ്രീ ദുര്ഗ ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം) is one of the oldest temple in Pandanad village, Alapuzha. The temple is located at Pandanad in Chengannur taluk of Alappuzha district in the south Indian state of Kerala. The temple is situated about 6 km west of Chengannur, and 4 km east of Mannar.Adichikkavu Sree Durga Devi Kshetram, is a Hindu temple, dedicated to goddess Sree Vana Durga (ശ്രി വന ദുര്ഗ).The major attraction of the temple is its top opened Sreekovil (ശ്രീകോവില്), specially made for Vana Durga (വന ദുര്ഗ).

Ravi Karunakaran Museum

Revi Karunakaran Memorial Museum is a privately owned museum located at Alappuzha, Kerala, India that displays decorative art and artifacts, including a large private collection of Swarovski crystals and ivory.Revi Karunakaran was the architect of the modernized coir industry of Kerala. After Revi's death in 2003, his wife Betty Karan built this museum in his memory. The objects displayed at this museum were collected by his family over three generations and feature unique artistic pieces from across the world.

Holy Family Church Mannila

Holy Family Church Mannila is a Catholic church located in Kottayam district in the Indian state of Kerala, about 10 kilometers away from Changanacherry. The Church is part of the Archdiocese of Changanacherry. It was established in 1927. That year a cross was erected on Mannilakunnu - മാന്നിലക്കുന്ന് (a small hill area around 10 km from Changanachery) by Fr. Karingida Thomma with the help of members of Marthoma Dasa Sangham, a Christian youth organisation. This was the beginning of The Holy Family Church Mannila.
