We booked for 2 nights in Munnar and 1 night in Allepey houseboat. we were provided with private ac cab for all the transfers and sightseeing during all 4 days. The cab driver was very helpful and friendly. He covered almost every sight of attraction in Munnar and Kochi. Hotel Rivertree in Munnar was very good. Free breakfast was amazing. Even the food in restaurant was very good and reasonable. In Allepey, we were provided with private houseboat, the staff was really helpful and food was also good. The whole trip was very well planned and very comfortable.

My tour group arranged for a city biking tour with Viking Biking, and we were well pleased. It was fairly easy biking, but we saw quite a bit, including Vigeland Sculpture Park (all those naked statures, what a novelty!), Akershus Fortress, City Hall, etc. Our \"3-hour\" tour was closer to 4 hours, which suited my group just fine. Guide was pleasant and informative.

Excellent tour of town, parks and views. We did not have horn hats. Bikes were in good condition. Guide told funny stories and shared history of town and country. Only one long hill on what was about a 7 mile ride.

More about this tour

Munnar is such a beautiful place in Kerala, which cannot be portrayed in a single canvas. Everything and anything here will make us excited. The hills, the mist, the valleys, the streams, the waterfalls, tea plantations, rare flora and fauna.... It is a beautiful tea town in Idukki district of Kerala easily accessible from Kochi and Coimbatore. The gorgeous hill station is ideally placed in the South Western Ghats of India. With an area of around 557 sq km, Munnar in Devikulam Taluk is the largest panchayat in Kerala.

Travelling in a houseboat in Alleppey is not just a matter of exquisite window views. It is an enchanting experience in itself. The cool breeze, the occasional migratory birds, and seasonal rains make the boat ride a unique experience that you can savour forever. Three things make Alleppey houseboat packages perfect: the right company, the right operator, and the right package.
