Day 1

Cochin – Munnar

Arriving at cochin international airport /railway station, proceed to Munnar. Enroute visit Cheyyara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Spice plantations. On arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the day at leisure. Later in the evening, Visit Tata Tea Museum. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

Munnar

Enjoy a lazy morning in the hotel. After breakfast, Enjoy a Full day Munnar Tour. Visit Eravikulam national park (Raja Malai), Mattupetty dam, Tea estates, Eco point, Rose garden, Photo point, Blossom park, Kundale lake. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Munnar – Thekkady

After the Breakfast Checkout the Hotel, drive for Thekkady. Arrive Thekkady and transfer to hotel. The town also houses one of world’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries. Lying at an altitude of 700-1900m above sea level, Periyar has a cool and comfortable climate.

  • Activity Camp Visit
    • Enjoy an Elephant ride through a small spice plantation
    • Kalaripayattu – an ancient South Indian martial art and one of the oldest fighting systems in existence today.

Day 4

Thekkady – Alleppey

After an appetizing breakfast, check out of the hotel. Drive to Alleppey and reach by afternoon. Check into the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Going to punnamada kayal or take an optional day cruise on the backwaters. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

Alleppey Departure

After breakfast on the hotel, check out & going to marari beach. then proceeding to cochin by road, and drop off cochin international airport/ railway station.

 

  • Half Day Cochin Island Tour (If time permits)
    • Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace – (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663.
    • Visit the Jewish Synagogue-(closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays) in Jew Town Fort Cochin Area. There are a couple of streets of picture-postcard houses out of another age.
    • Visit St. Francis Church – (closed for visitors on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs) the oldest European Church in India. It has several antiquities including a wealth of records.

Chinese Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast.

    It\'s well worth it to pre buy your tickets to these fabulous attractions. We walked right into both buildings. Do pay attention to the time printed on the ticket that tells you when to show up to enter since they gear the time towards missing the crowds. Our friends waited 40- 60 minutes in line to buy tickets on site.

    Worth visiting if you are in Seville, nice architecture, gardens/park are an enjoyable walk and provide some shade from be sun if needed. Can be very busy with people.

    I visited the Alcazar which was most interesting. Lots to see and beautiful gardens. Only negative comment is that the information sheets were faded and difficult to read. Booking in advance is recommended as the queues are horrendous!
